“Uncovering the Truth: The Government’s Quest to Understand Unidentified Aerial Phenomena”
As the world becomes more and more advanced, so do the technologies that we use every day. And with this advancement comes new discoveries and mysteries that we never thought possible. One of the biggest mysteries that has been plaguing the government for quite some time now is the topic of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), or as they’re more commonly known, UFOs.
Recently, the government has taken steps to address this mystery head-on by establishing the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), whose purpose is to continue the efforts of the UAP Task Force (UAPTF) and to coordinate UAP efforts beyond the Department of Defense (DoD). This new office will have the authority to develop processes and procedures to synchronize and standardize collection, reporting, and analysis throughout not just the DoD, but also the Intelligence Community (IC) as well. This means that AARO will be working closely with non-IC agencies such as the FAA, NASA, NOAA, and the non-IC elements of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Energy (DOE), as appropriate.
Since the establishment of AARO, the office has received a total of 247 new UAP reports, bringing the total number of UAP reports catalogued to date to 510. The majority of these new reports originate from U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force aviators and operators who witnessed UAP during the course of their operational duties and reported the events to the UAPTF or AARO…
